Equipment.

A list of equipment we made that is required in our film making: Camera. 18-55mm lens. 35 mm lens. Hydraulic tripod. Collar or wireless mics. Handheld light. Motorised or normal gimbal (3 axis).

Research ( Target Audience )

Target audience. There is a big range of people, both genders that like triller movies. 84% is watched by males and 83% movies by females Triller target audience Triller movies interest the young because of the plots twists, the young kids or the young adults like suspense and mystery Triller movies are mostly for the age group 15 or above because it consists of violence and suspense. Triller movies are appealing to both males and females, the action that creates the triller attracts the males and females usually watch triller because it plays questions in their heads wondering what will happen next in the movie. Age range: We’ve decided to have 15 or above as our target audience Gender: The movie is for both males and females, the males are attracted my the content and the females could be attracted by the mystery/suspicious male character.

Auditions for our movie. Once we were done with the script, we went looking for our actors, we needed three people in total, two females and one male.

Film Opening Synopsis.

Synopsis James Davis, whose psychopathy is hidden from the world, runs a well known local bakery. The townspeople see him as a charming and affable man, but what they do not know is that he has a young girl kidnapped and hidden in the very bakery they visit everyday. On one fateful day, a customer accidentally discovers James’ secret. She must now face a difficult path in which she will have to choose between doing the right thing or saving herself.

Conventions And Unconventions. Animatics.

Some drawings made to portray an overview of the scenes of our film opening compiled together in the form of a short slideshow.

Script.

Our script written by Alizey fatima ( Our writer) ACT 1 KITCHEN - DUSK [Laughing On The Outside by Bernadette Carroll plays faintly over the radio in a dimly lit kitchen where the baker is preparing a cake] The camera pans to the right from behind a wall to reveal the table top where the baker can be seen working, clad in a dark T-shirt and an apron. The camera then dollies in to show the baker taping an egg against the edge of a silver bowl and cracking it open inside. The camera cuts in to show the baker pulling out a nearby drawer. As the baker retrieves a whisk from within, the contents of the drawer are briefly shown to the audience. Along with other cooking utensils, there is a glimpse of a gun at the back of the drawer. The baker is then shown to be whisking a chocolate batter with a hand whisk. Unexplained bruises on the hands of the baker can be subtly seen. The face of the baker is not yet revealed.
